How will Jasmine react?
Home and Away kicks off a big new storyline for Jasmine Delaney on UK screens next week.
Jasmine’s world is turned upside-down when her boyfriend Cash Newman visits her on an official police matter.
Cash arrives home and solemnly tells Jasmine that her biological father has passed away.
A solicitor in the city has been trying to track down Jasmine and passed on the information to the local police station.
Cash braces himself for Jasmine to take the news badly, but he’s surprised as she brushes it off.
Jasmine reminds Cash that she hasn’t seen her father since she was six, when he failed to collect her from school one day.
As Jasmine was then abandoned by her dad, she considered him as dead to her already.
Cash is sceptical over this reaction and suspects that it’s only a matter of time before Jasmine’s grief becomes apparent.
He tips off Irene Roberts over what’s going on, needing her help to keep an eye on Jasmine. Is Cash right to suspect that this is necessary?
Home and Away bosses are setting up a big new storyline with the news of Jasmine’s father dying.
The revelation ultimately leads to the arrival of two new characters – Xander and Rose Delaney, who have already made their first appearances on Australian screens.
Xander, played by Luke Van Os, will come to the Bay to find Jasmine and reveal that he’s her brother. He comes with news to share about their father’s will.
Xander doesn’t arrive alone and soon introduces Jasmine to his sister Rose, played by Kirsty Marillier.
