Hollyoaks’ Sam Chen-Williams lies after brutal beating from Warren Fox

Hollyoaks newcomer Sam Chen-Williams lies to his family tonight (February 21) after being brutally attacked by Warren Fox.

Sam (Matthew McGivern) clashed with Warren (Jamie Lomas) outside the village’s traffic light party last week, which led to the bad boy losing control and beating him up.

In Monday’s E4 first look episode, several villagers wake up with regrets over the night before.

Honour (Vera Chok) has a hangover after a few too many drinks at the party, while Sam makes an ill-fated attempt to hide his injuries.

Sam lies that he doesn’t know who attacked him and he urges Honour not to make a fuss.

Meanwhile, Warren receives a visit from the police as part of their enquiries, as they know he was doing security work for the club at the time of the incident.

Warren denies any knowledge of the crime and insists that he saw nothing. With Sam covering for him, it initially seems that he’ll get away with his actions.

Later, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) frets about her half-brother’s welfare but a nervous Warren urges her to give Sam some space.

Maxine can’t do this and goes to check on Sam, encouraging him not to stay quiet if he knows who the culprit was.

Maxine is shocked by what Sam ends up telling her. Is the truth about to come out over Warren’s violent behaviour? And will Maxine be able to forgive him if it does?
