EastEnders reveals first look at Tiffany Butcher’s return

Maisie Smith is back on Albert Square.

EastEnders has revealed a sneak peek at the return of Tiffany Butcher, as actress Maisie Smith makes a brief comeback to the soap as part of co-star Zack Morris’ exit story.

Tiffany was last seen on the Square in December as she left Walford behind to start a new life in Germany with her brother, Liam Butcher (Alfie Deegan), having been led to believe that things were truly over between her and estranged husband Keegan Butcher-Baker (Morris).

It was later confirmed that Tiffany would make a cameo appearance in one more episode of the soap and EastEnders has now shared further details about what brings Tiffany back to the Square.

In the coming weeks, Keegan spirals out of control as he blames himself for what abusive Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) did to his late sister, Chantelle (Jessica Plummer), after Gray’s crimes are exposed.

But, unbeknownst to him, help is not far away when Tiffany is called back to the Square to try and support her ex.

In two first-look images of her return, Tiff is shown sitting beside an upset Keegan on Arthur’s bench and offering him a supportive hand to hold as he comes to terms with recent events.

However, with the former couple having left many of their feelings unresolved, will Keegan listen to her?

The couple’s marriage initially fell apart when Keegan cheated on Tiff with Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) last year. After several months apart, it looked like there could be a reconciliation on the cards for them after all just before Christmas – until Liam cruelly intervened to prevent the pair from finding out each other’s true feelings.

Could they be about to get a second chance at longer-lasting happiness?

Actor Zack confirmed in February that he would be leaving Keegan behind after five years, with his final scenes due to air in the spring.

“After five beautiful years on this incredible show, I have made the tough decision to leave Walford and give Keegan Butcher-Baker some well-earned rest,” he told “This show has quite frankly changed my life for the better. It will always hold a real loving place in my heart.”
