Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away recently welcomed a bunch of new characters on Channel 5, but next week will see one of them appearing to make a sudden exit.
Following Lyrik’s success during Salt’s band night, Mac wants them back but Felicity is keenly aware that they have their sights set on bigger things than just playing small-time gigs.
When Felicity broaches the subject of them playing more gigs at Salt, it is Bob that puts up the biggest fight and he makes it clear that he has no interest in pub gigs in towns he clearly looks down his nose at.
But it is evident that there are problems in the band and that the rest of them do not share Bob’s view – which only highlights the growing divide between them.
Remi and Eden are keen to play more gigs, however small, to help keep their finances healthy, while Kirby is torn over who to support given her relationship with Bob.
Eden takes matters into her own hands by speaking with Felicity and persuading her to give the band a better offer – one that even Bob would struggle to justify saying no to.
While the rest of Lyrik are delighted at the new offer, Bob once again proves to be a roadblock and things soon escalate to the point that he tries to persuade Kirby to start another band with just the two of them.
Kirby is not keen on leaving the others behind, and she and Bob soon find themselves in the midst of a row so big that he quits the group, throws all their equipment out of his van, and drives off with no intention of returning.
Lyrik now finds themselves with a new reality that sees them without a lead singer. Will they be able to find a replacement, or has Lyrik come to a premature end?
