Home and Away

Home and Away cast film on location for mystery new scenes

The soap has sparked the curiosity of fans after a number of cast members posted on social media from the town of Young – away from Sydney, where the series usually films.

Marilyn Chambers actress Emily Symons shared a picture of herself in a pink jacket and heels on the grounds of a big house on her Instagram Stories, writing: “Maz goes to the country,” while also posting that she was having “motel makeup”.

Fellow star Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson) also posted a series of pictures with castmates under a “Young” sign, while in a separate post said they were “out on location shooting something very exciting”.

“A fantastic Away shoot in beautiful Young,” added Lynne McGranger (Irene Roberts) in her own post. “And now it’s time for Home.

“Can’t wait for people to see this wonderful storyline in a few months. Thanks for the memories and the sunrises, Young. Hope to see you again soon”.

Broadcaster Channel 7 has since confirmed to 7Entertainment: “Home and Away is currently shooting some location scenes in picturesque Young and its surrounding areas. These scenes will feature in episodes screening on Channel 7 later this year.”

What could these mystery scenes involve? We’ll have to wait until later this year to find out.

In other Home and Away news, star James Stewart has opened up about a last-minute change to Theo Poulos’s recent storyline.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
