Emmerdale’s Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) discusses her harrowing ordeal at the hands of a group of teenage girls next week, admitting that she thought she was going to die.
The village councillor is set upon by the teens in upcoming scenes, as she heads home from a bar following a showdown with sister Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles).
The girls accost Nicola in a car park, before proceeding to attack her, and leaving her unconscious.
Jimmy (Nick Miles), Rodney (Patrick Mower), Bernice and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) are appalled when they discover what’s happened, and they head to the hospital to await news of their loved one.
Nicola wakes up shortly afterwards, much to Jimmy’s delight, but he’s quick to ask her about what happened. Feeling embarrassed, Nicola claims to not remember much about the assault.
Gabby (Rosie Bentham), however, sees a video being circulated online, and comes to realise exactly what happened to her aunt.
Jimmy, meanwhile, is heartbroken to realise that Nicola felt embarrassed about the attack, and he’s by her side as she fills Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) in on all the details.
What’s more, she opens up about how she’s feeling, admitting that she fears that her attackers will show up at her home since they’ve got her driving licence.
Nicola, emotional, then tells Jimmy that she thought she was going to die. Jimmy is dismayed to see his wife so broken.
Will Nicola be okay?
