Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is left in shock in Emmerdale next week, when she discovers a video of Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) attack being circulated online.
Nicola as some viewers may know, is brutally assaulted by a group of teenage girls in upcoming scenes, after a trip to a bar with sister Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) and best mate Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy).
The teens corner and accost her in the carpark, before carrying out a brutal beating – one so bad that Nicola ends up in hospital.
Jimmy (Nick Miles) awaits news of his wife’s condition, and he’s over the moon when she wakes up. Desperately wanting answers, he proceeds to question her about the attack.
Nicola, however, feels embarrassed about what transpired, and thus she lies, claiming that she cannot remember anything about the heinous assault.
Despite Nicola’s claims, the truth comes out soon afterwards, as Gabby finds a video of the attack circulating online, and she wastes little time in relaying the discovery to her nearest and dearest.
Jimmy’s heart breaks for his wife, realising that she was too embarrassed to speak about what happened.
Nicola, meanwhile, recounts details of the attack to Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton), and admits that she worries her attackers will know her address, as they’ve got her drivers licence.
Will Gabby’s discovery prove instrumental in ensuring the attackers are caught?
What’s more, will Nicola be okay?
