EastEnders to reveal Ash Panesar’s secret as Suki makes a discovery

EastEnders spoilers follow.

Ash Panesar is making a comeback to EastEnders this week, and Suki is set to learn that she has a secret she is keen to keep.

Ash was last seen on the BBC soap back in January, as she left Walford after being subjected to a homophobic attack. The attack, and ongoing issues between her and her mother Suki, made Ash think that a fresh start was just what she needed.

But Ash returns in scenes to air later this week, and it would appear that any issues between mother and daughter are still very much ongoing as she settles back into the family home.

Viewers will remember that their strained relationship really started to crumble after Suki’s surprise affair with Peter was revealed.

But while it looks like they’re ready to make amends, some changes are hard for Ash to deal with – such as Dotty moving in and becoming a part of the family.

And it would appear as though Ash is hiding some financial troubles as she asks Vinny for a loan, while Suki gets a shock when she rummages through her bag to find out what her daughter is up to.

As Suki and Ash get into yet another row, Vinny snatches back the cash. But why does Ash need it in the first place, and what is it that Suki has discovered?

Ash’s return is not the only big talking point this week in EastEnders, as the show will be joining in with the big Platinum Jubilee celebrations taking place around the country.

Not only will Walford be in full-on party mode to mark the occasion, but we will also be seeing two royally famous guest stars in Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

They will not be the first royal visitors to Albert Square, as in 2001 the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh paid a visit for a set tour – and the Queen of Walford, Barbara Windsor, was one of their guides on the day.

EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
