EastEnders spoilers: Two returns, death shock, Suki sex assault trauma

It’s like old times for Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and ex-husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) in next week’s EastEnders, as they head off on holiday together, albeit under very awkward circumstances.

Should Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) be worried as he joins them? The chemistry seems to be sparking.

And there are other surprises for them as they are reunited with Mo Harris (Laila Morse) and Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).

Back on the Square though, there is no break for Suki (Balvinder Sopal). As vile Ranveer makes a move on her that leaves her in serious risk, she fights back.

Suki is in an impossible situation as Ranveer continues to blackmail her. Vinny arrives and drifting further apart from her family.

Things keep getting worse for Suki as she unsuccessfully tries to negotiate a lower deal on the Minute Mart lease and when Sharon picks-up on her despair, she invites her for a drink. Suki uses her vulnerability to try and manipulate Sharon into lending her money.

After some words of wisdom from Eve, she agrees to meet Ranveer – what is she planning?

Stacey tells Martin that they need to use a holiday at a caravan park they booked before the pandemic today. Martin tells her he can’t go so Stacey extends the invite to Kheerat who politely declines her invitation.

Martin confides in Zack about his regret not going on the holiday and Zack makes him think again. As Stacey packs, she is flustered when both Kheerat and Martin turn up ready to go, both having changed their mind.

Kim introduces Denzel to Amy, Lily and Tommy. Amy takes a shine to Denzel and tries to impress him and causing havoc in the process.

Tuesday August 9

Ranveer wants to get straight to business but Suki has other plans. Ranveer is furious when he discovers what Suki has done and he refuses to leave, insisting Suki makes it up to him.

Suki stands her ground, a fight ensues and Suki leaves Kheerat a voicemail, pleading for help. Meanwhile, Ravi looks for his father and Eve points him in Suki’s direction after seeing him head there earlier. As Ranveer overpowers Suki, she whacks him over the head.

The holiday is off to a rocky start for Stacey as Kheerat and Martin bicker and find themselves competing in a game to see who gets to choose dinner. Kheerat has a strop when he loses and Stacey confronts him about his attitude, he thinks he’s too good for a caravan park.

Kheerat makes Stacey see a different side to him and after making up, they head to dinner where they get a shock – Jean is the waitress.

Jack is less than impressed by Amy’s outfit but Kim plays it down and leaves Amy with Denzel. Ravi’s son, Davinder (Nugget), introduces himself and as the three hang out, Denzel and Nugget wind up Amy leaving her upset

Elsewhere, Kathy breaks the news to Bobby she needs to sell Walford East.

Wednesday August 10

Kheerat convinces Jean to talk to Stacey but is stopped in his tracks when he hears Suki’s desperate voicemail and rushes off. Stacey meets with Jean to chat but gets a surprise – she’s with Mo.

The trio have a drink and catch-up and Stacey questions why Jean is here and not staying with her friends as agreed. Stacey asks Jean to come home but it becomes apparent Jean is worried people are gossiping about her: she’s still ashamed about her behaviour during her bipolar episode. so she insists she can never go back there.

Suki’s stomach is in knots as Ravi arrives and finds Ranveer’s lifeless body.

Chelsea finds a teary Amy who tells her what happened so Chelsea finds Denzel and Nugget, well and truly putting them in their place. In the Minute Mart, self-conscious from the comments the boys made.

In The Vic, Dana consoles Bobby about Walford East closing and they agree to meet for a drink tomorrow.

Thursday August 11

Seeing the Minute Mart closed, a concerned Kheerat tells his siblings to check in on Suki.

Stacey continues her mission to get Jean home but Lily interjects and gets emotional. As Stacey and Jean later sit down to talk with Lily, Martin shares some moving words but will it be enough to encourage Jean to come home?

Denise and Chelsea support Amy as she struggles with the realities of becoming a teenager. Furious Denzel didn’t apologise, Chelsea once again gives him and Nugget some stern words After, telling Rocky about his plans to meet with Dana as friends for drinks, Rocky tells Bobby and Dana respectively that they both want to get back together. Nervous, Bobby and Dana meet for drinks.
