EastEnders spoilers: Suki and Eve’s passion and who is shot?

Life is in serious danger in EastEnders as a dramatic gun siege leaves one character fighting for life.

As an attack is launched on Peggy’s, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf), Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) are in the firing line – but will death follow?

Elsewhere, stress mounts on Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) as her family turmoils implode – but how will she react when Eve (Heather Peace) kisses her?

Monday June 27

Kat and Sharon prepare for the grand opening of Peggy’s and despite being sacked, Sam orders the staff around. Seeing an opportunity, Kat and Sharon leave Sam alone with a long list of issues to sort.

Sam later gives Dotty the keys as she rushes off to get ready and Dotty tells Shirley the coast is clear. Sharon and Kat bond as they work together to get everything ready but their happiness is short-lived when they arrive to see Shirley has trashed the club; this is payback for all the times the Mitchells have hurt her family.

Shirley warns them she won’t stop with her vendetta but they are stopped in their tracks when two men enter waving a gun. As Shirley takes cover in the office, Kat and Sharon panic and try to call Sam for help but a gunshot rings out…

Ash refuses to give in to Suki’s orders to work at the new GP surgery with Nina; she’s moving to Canada. As Suki meets with Nina to discuss a job for Ash, she learns Nina’s dating Ranveer leaving her more desperate than ever for Ash to work there.

Ash is devastated to learn her job in Canada has fallen through and when Suki arrives home, she tries to bribe Ash into applying for the GP job with a car.

After talking to Dotty, Bernie tells Rainie she can have Roland but must leave Stuart. Rainie and Mitch discuss the situation, unaware Stuart is listening , and Stuart later tells a heartbroken Rainie that he’s ending things between them; she deserves Roland.

Kim forces a reluctant Howie to perform as a Grime act at Lily’s party but things don’t go to plan leaving Kim to try and save the day.

Tuesday June 28

Chaos ensues at the club as Sharon and Kat reel from the warning shot. Shirley panics when she realises the thugs want the safe where she is hiding and tries to reach Dotty.

A confident Sam enters and refuses to back down to the men’s demands, telling them to pass a defiant message on to Jonah. However realising their threats are serious, Sam eventually gives in and takes them to the safe but things quickly gets out of control leaving someone shot…

Rainie is heartbroken as Stuart packs his things and leaves, realising it’s the end of their relationship. At The Vic, Karen gives Stuart a piece of her mind for abandoning Roland but Patrick makes her see their might be more to it.

Rainie tells Jack she plans to leave the Square and as she visits the Taylor’s, Karen finds Stuart and questions if he could have postnatal depression. The words hit hard for Stuart and he snaps at Karen.

Ash tries to sell the car from Suki and later tells her she’ll apply for the job at the new GP surgery. Ash soon realises Suki has been through her emails and knows about the job in Canada.

Furious, Suki tells Ash she can’t reward her for lying and demands the car keys back, telling her she’ll need to find her own job. After Ash shares some home truths and storms out, Suki rethinks and opens Ash’s laptop.

Howie is grateful to Kim for saving the day at Lily’s party and one thing soon leads to another and Kim kisses Howie. Kim quickly catches herself and confides in Denise, she’s not sure she can love Howie after Vincent. Denise offers Kim some advice leaving Kim wondering what to do.

Wednesday June 29

Ash confronts Suki for meddling with her life after she applies for the GP job behind her back but Nina overhears forcing them to cover. Stacey prepares for another meeting at no.31 with Kheerat but after Billy tells Suki he’s heard people inside, Suki, Eve and Ash go to check. Kheerat arrives to the three women, unaware Stacey is hiding behind the sofa, and quickly comes up with a cover story.

After he leaves, Ash lets rip at Suki about her behaviour and storms off. Believing they’re alone, Suki confides in Eve and brings up the children’s emotionally abusive dad being released from prison. Eve spots Stacey hiding and tries to keep Suki distracted.

After Stuart spends the night sleeping on a bench, Rainie and Karen continue with their efforts to talk to him but Stuart is having none of it despite Karen revealing Rainie plans to leave.

Rainie gets ready to leave Walford and Karen tries one last time to get Stuart to talk to Rainie. Can she convince him? Things are awkward between Kim and Howie and after Kim overhears him talking to Patrick about the situation.

Thursday June 30

Ben and Jay return home but it doesn’t take Kathy long to realise Ben is struggling. Ben reluctantly agrees to take Lexi to a Pride fair but as they get ready, Peter drops off a box of lost property and Lexi pulls out the shirt Lewis was wearing on the night of the attack.

Ben locks himself in the bathroom leaving Lexi distraught. Kathy arrives and snaps at Peter for his nonchalant attitude towards what’s happening and insists he takes Lexi home.

Stacey interrogates Eve over Suki’s ex-husband and after Suki invites Eve for lunch to thank her for her support, Eve agrees Stacey can tell Kheerat. As Eve meets Suki for lunch, she feels a spark between them and rushes to stop Stacey from talking to Kheerat.

At the Panesar’s, Eve talks to Suki and leans in for a kiss. Kim boasts about her relationship with Howie but Patrick and Denise are taken back by her odd behaviour around him.
