EastEnders’ Phil Mitchell turns violent with Suki after shock discovery

EastEnders’ Suki Panesar will face the wrath of Phil Mitchell next week, as her actions amid Ben’s collapse come back to haunt her.

Suki left Ben for dead earlier this week, after finding him struggling to breathe following an accidental drug overdose.

Monday’s episode (August 8) will see Phil and Ben discuss what happened while at the hospital, before realising that Suki must have abandoned Ben in his hour of need.

Suki has recently learned about the role Ben played Jags’ tragic death last year. However, Ben’s confession sparked further revelations about Suki’s own involvement, and her children have all turned their back on her as a result.

As Ben and Phil connect the dots over Suki’s recent behaviour, she is preoccupied dealing with with another difficult situation elsewhere as Ranveer continues to blackmail her. He insists that they can close the business deal if Suki sleeps with him.

Things get even worse for Suki as she unsuccessfully tries to negotiate a lower deal on the Minute Mart lease.

When Sharon picks-up on her despair, she invites Suki for a drink, where Suki uses her vulnerability to try and manipulate Sharon into lending her money.

As they go to The Vic to discuss this, Phil storms in and confronts Suki over leaving Ben for dead, making sure everyone can hear.

The situation intensified as Phil lunges at Suki but Kheerat manages to get him to back down.

With Sharon’s money now off the table, Suki is left feeling hopeless, and after some words of wisdom from Eve, agrees to meet Ranveer.

At the meeting, Suki forces Ranveer to sign a contract and say out loud that he will give her the business in return for sleeping with him.

As we’ve previously revealed, Suki’s meeting with Ranveer does not go as she planned, resulting in fatal consequences.

EastEnders airs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One, with some episodes airing on BBC Two during summer sporting events. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
