Coronation Street’s Fiz Stape turns back to Tyrone Dobbs amid house crisis

Will this bring the pair closer together?

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street’s Fiz Stape will turn back to Tyrone Dobbs amid her and fiancé Phill Whittaker’s house crisis in scenes airing next week.

Fiz recently gave Phill another chance and has returned to live with him in their house, which is currently being renovated.

The couple want to make it their dream home, but the pressure is clearly getting to Fiz who tells Phill that she is sick of living on a construction site.

This isn’t helped by Phill admitting that the crack in the lounge ceiling is worse than he initially thought, and worse yet, he confesses to having spilled paint on the wedding invitations.

Next week, Phill and Fiz will continue to stress over the setbacks with the renovation, especially when Phill breaks the news to Fiz that the whole house needs rewiring because it’s a death trap.

Not wanting Fiz and the girls to be in danger, Tyrone suggests they should move back into Number 9 while the work is carried out, and surprisingly, Phill agrees.

Will this bring Fiz and Tyrone closer again?

Fiz and Tyrone were a fan-favourite couple on the soap for many years, so viewers were understandably upset when Tyrone’s affair with Alina brought their relationship to an end last year.

Earlier this year, producer Iain MacLeod revealed how he has “absolutely loved” exploring this love triangle, but he also acknowledged that it might not be so simple for Fiz to forgive and forget what Tyrone did to her.

“I think I know what Fiz’s happy ending looks like, but it’s going to be a long, brilliant and complicated story for both of them,” he said. “Once you’ve been hurt and humiliated like Fiz has, even if you find yourself wanting your ex back, is it that straightforward? Will pride, and your family, let you?”

It looks like fans will just have to wait and see if Fiz and Tyrone will get their happily ever after…

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, June 13 at 8pm on ITV.
